We got you.
You're safe now.

Be a Fospice Pawtner!
From Twinkie's fospice mom: This is Twinkie's shelter pic from June 2018.  She was scheduled for euthanasia because of a huge mass and no rescue interest. When I saw her picture she stole my heart before I even met her. We spent 634 days together, every one of them full of love. She loved to sleep with her head on her brother Beau. She was mostly daddy's girl - they had a very special bond but she was sweet with everyone she met. On March 21, 2020, Twinkie gained her wings. She fought hard and we fought hard. People think since we do senior rescue that it "must get easier" but it doesn't....and shouldn't. Rest easy Twinkle Toes. You were a good girl.

Cherished Tails FOSPICE is the
 ULTIMATE SANCTUARY

FOSPICE PAWTNERS Needed

The Cherished Tails Fospice team believes each pet's life has value.
Together, we can ensure they are loved and pain free until it's their time to go.
One look in their eyes tells us they're worth it! Please help.

Shelters are especially traumatizing for seniors who are mentally and physically hurt. When euthanasia is the last option, Cherished Tails Senior Sanctuary is a lifeline, offering every reasonable chance to heal, with the hope of finding a forever family. Sadly, approximately 40% of our rescues are chronically ill and unadoptable, but that doesn't mean they don't enjoy life.

These special souls experience the ultimate sanctuary we call FOSPICE, a compassion ministry where fosters love our pets till the end and we provide support. Our babies still have a wonderful quality of life, though we are careful that they don't suffer. But without the financial support of Fospice Pawtners financial support, our aged and ill pets would not survive the shelter.
PicturePenny, age 10 with kidney issues, is worth it!
On average, a fospice pet costs $350/year and, with enough support, we care for 35-40 fospice pets at any one time. Donations, adoption fees, and fundraisers cover the enormous vet bills to get pets ready for adoption so we need directed donations from special donors with a heart for hospice to support our lifelong fosters.

Together, Fospice Pawtners and Foster Families rescue these sweet souls with love to give and life to live till it’s their time to cross rainbow bridge.
Please join us as a Fospice Pawtner with a monthly gift of any amount.  A $25 monthly  donation can care for a fospice pet for an entire year!

An amazing 98% of donations go to medical care and food with only 2% to administrative costs.
Your tax-deductible gift to Cherished Tails Fospice Program is used only for our fospice pets.
